»Ich hab von ihm geträumt und von Affen«

Kristina Frick

Fragments from the life of an unknown woman from 1950’s Berlin resurface in Kristina Frick’s photobook, in which she combines intimate jottings from the woman’s diaries with photographs from her own life, to create a third entity. A web of reality and fiction, past and present, emerge in the spaces between the photographs and notes, leading the reader to question their perception of the Other.
