»US Blues« unites four different views on American life. Paul D’Amato’s pictures of the west side of Chicago show the conditions of many African- American communities in the US. The American Fairs in Pamela Littky’s works depict a social and cultural fabric that celebrates the nostalgic ideals of America. Dotan Saguy’s photographs unabashedly praise the rarity of the unique originals who populate the sands of Venice. And Jay Wolke’s images of the gambling centers in Las Vegas, Nevada and Atlantic City in the 1980s and 90s bring a historical layer to the exhibition.
