Migration is part of everyday life in the 21st century. The French song “Le vent nous portera” tells of leaving and arriving. It awakens associations with existential themes of our time: How is it to leave its familiar environment and arrive at a foreign place?
The exhibition invites you to think about the moment of transit and the transition from one language to another. The show presents photographs and objects, video installations and painting of eight international artists who reflect the experience of migration and translation.
