Private in public space and public in private space. The course at Ostkreuzschule Berlin, led by the photographer Thomas Meyer, was discussing this complex subject and some extraordinary works came out, followed by the question: What is private and how do we deal with this today?
The works range between staged public in private rooms by Nataly Dietz, through a photographic discussion about the magic and suction of new media by Stefanie Loos, up to the “very private” rooms built at the Tiergarten park in Berlin by Christian Demarco.
The spectrum of the nine presented series is astonishing and widens the perspective for that subject, that never was more relevant than today.
