In “I follow rivers” Göran Gnaudschun observes his own life in photographs. Though at first almost seemingly incidental, they quietly reach symbolic power. Gnaudschun is interested in self-questioning and transforming that process into images. Where do I stand? How did I arrive at this point in life? In what form is the past suspended in my present? Associative bands stretch across images and times. The project has to do with existence. In this highly subjective work, Gnaudschun repeatedly seeks to compare his inner world with the images of the outside world.
